# The quote

A quote that's **specific to their house** — it names what they're getting, so the monthly
price is anchored to real value instead of a round number. Below is one worked end to end for a
typical customer, then a blank you can copy. The prices are our working numbers (see
`MARKETING`); the setup fee is never discounted. When signed, it gets saved on the customer's
record.

## Worked example — a prime-time household

> # A777ance — your quote
> **Prepared by:** Jose · A777ance guild
> **For:** `[your customer]` · Maple Grove · (route RT-0001)
> **Date:** June 4, 2026

> ### What you get
> - A small managed box on your network that quietly keeps trackers, ads, and bad sites off
> **every device** — your TV, your phone, the speaker — with no app to install.
> - Your internet company can no longer see the sites your house visits.
> - A **monthly statement** — plain-language proof of what we handled — by email (and on
> paper if you want it), scrollable from a QR code.
> - A real person — me, Jose, two miles away — you can call.
>

**For the operator (don't show the customer):**
- Pull the device count and their worry straight from the consult notes (04/05) so the quote
  reads personal, not boilerplate.
- The moment they sign: save the signature on the record, flip them lead → customer, kick off
the setup-fee charge (07) and the [onboarding checklist](onboarding-checklist.md).
- Cost reality, for your own math: a statement costs about a penny to generate, plus ~$1 if
  you mail it (`MARKETING`).
